What this policy covers

This policy describes information handled through the UNAUTOMATED website and its public forms. It is written to describe the functionality currently available on this site, not to make promises about services that are not in use.

Information you choose to provide

If you subscribe to The Unautomated Brief, we record your email address and your subscription preference. If you contact us, request a correction, inquire about speaking or organizations, or report an accessibility barrier, we receive the information you enter in the form, which may include your name, email address, organization, phone number, subject, and message.

If you publicly adopt the Ten Commitments, we collect the adoption details and display preferences you submit. Do not submit confidential, sensitive, protected, regulated, or private information through public forms.

Assessments and reflections

The Human Judgment Assessment and Organizational AI Readiness Assessment generate results in your browser. The site does not ask for or retain your answer selections, individual reports, organization names, or response-linked profiles in order to show a report.

The site may record de-identified aggregate assessment usage, such as starts, completions, and report views, to understand whether these educational experiences are useful. Assessment responses are not used for marketing, eligibility, certification, employment decisions, diagnosis, or consequential recommendations.

Analytics

The site does not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics. For the public education journeys described here, it records only a small set of first-party aggregate interaction counts. Those records contain the event name and time, not page-view histories, browser identifiers, advertising identifiers, referral or campaign data, form answers, organization names, email addresses, or response-linked profiles.

Payments

If a paid offering is available, checkout is provided through the MadeThis platform. Payment information is handled by that platform and its payment providers rather than collected in public website forms. Review the checkout provider’s terms and privacy information before completing a purchase.

How information is used and shared

We use form submissions to provide the requested newsletter, route an inquiry for human review, maintain consent and adoption records, respond to corrections or accessibility reports, and operate the site. The site uses service providers that host the website, database, authentication, notifications, and platform checkout. These providers process information as needed to provide their services.

We do not sell public-form information. We may disclose information when required to protect the site, respond to a lawful request, or address fraud, security, or safety concerns.

Your choices and requests

You can manage a newsletter subscription through newsletter preferences. To ask about information associated with a contact, adoption, or newsletter record, email team@unautomated.madethis.app. We may need enough information to locate the relevant record and verify that the request is connected to it.

Children

This website is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal information through a public form, contact us so we can review the request.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information handled through the site. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We may update this policy when site functionality or handling practices change; the effective date above shows the latest revision.
